Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT)

Low-level laser light applied to the scalp to boost cellular energy in hair follicles.

Overview

LLLT applies red/infrared laser light at 650–670 nm wavelengths to the scalp. The laser light boosts mitochondrial ATP production, supporting follicle metabolism, improving blood flow and lengthening the hair growth phase (anagen). It is painless with a very low side-effect profile. It can be combined with PRP or mesotherapy. Applied 2–3 times per week, 15–20 minutes each, for a total of 4–6 months.
